Starting a new exercise plan, or any exercise for that matter, can be difficult. There are so many programs and types of workouts that it’s hard to know where to start, or even what will work for you. We at Why Knot Wellness understand this and know how to help you find the right plan…and stick to it.
Jet is an experienced ACSM-certified exercise physiologist (EP-C) and has the ACSM Exercise is Medicine program certification (EIM-2). Shi understands the difficulty of losing weight and keeping it off while also dealing with pain, chronic illness, and a demanding life. Shi has lost weight in the past, and had it creep back on even though she ate mindfully and remained active. Shi understands that a healthy movement practice isn’t just about losing weight, even though that’s an important piece of the puzzle. It’s about gaining strength and mobility while decreasing the sensations of pain and weakness.
Jet works with clients to help strengthen their bodies to help alleviate the pain they feel. A person can still have pain and still be able to exercise, the exercise just has be adjusted to each individual person, and that’s what shi does: creates an individualized program to meet you where you are that helps you reach your personal goals.
Not only can we assist you in specific exercises and making good exercise programs that are individualized to you specifically, but we illuminate a new way of looking at food and how food choices can help you feel even more like yourself. The connection between exercise and food choices can assist your body in performing optimally so that you can live your life best life.
We offer flexible consultations, from half-hour sessions where you can get individualized guidance, to complete exercise and wellness packages that suit any lifestyle and goals! This includes exercise coaching with meditation, mindfulness, and even massage therapy. It’s a whole new sort of mind-body wellness program that you are sure to love, and that works as hard as you do.
Fitness Packages
The Beginning Assessment:
This is where we meet up to figure out where we are starting from. We do a fitness assessment to see what you are able to do right at this moment. We then talk about what your goals are along with barriers that have gotten in the way of exercise. These barriers include any chronic illness or cancer, as well as pain, fatigue and medications. We also find out what you enjoy and what you don’t enjoy so that you are more willing to do these activities.
The Plan
This is the fun part… the fitness adventure. Adventure, because this should be something fun that you will want to continue doing. The adventure will include cardio (to increase your endurance for doing things) and resistance (to build up muscle to do things) training as well as flexibility/stretching. We start at your start point and slowly work on your customized plan until we achieve whatever your goals may be.

Our Exercise Physiologist will work with you to provide a personalized plan with magical storylines to keep you interested in pursuing movement without pain. This will include check ins to make sure the program is working for you, and to tweak those plans if that is what is needed. We will also answer any questions you may have, and make sure you stay on track to making your goals become reality.
Our programs are as follows. These programs will be given virtually, so that you may do them at your leisure, whether in your home, at the gym, in whatever time frame you need to do that in.
The Starter Pack: A 3-Month Commitment for $230 for 3 months (or $80 Monthly)
Get a personalized 3-month game plan to achieve your exercise goals, including:
- Strength Training – Build muscle and endurance
- Agility – Improve coordination and movement
- Cardio – Boost heart health and stamina
- Flexibility – Enhance mobility and prevent injury
You’ll also receive one 15-minute check-in call per week to track your progress and make adjustments as needed.
The Champions Pack: A 3-Month Commitment: $650 ($217/Month)
Get everything included in the Starter Pack, plus:
2 60 minute bodywork sessions (massage or reiki)
One extra 15 minute check in per week to track progress and make adjustments.
The Epic Quest: A three month commitment $1100 ($367/Month)
Get everything in the previous packages plus:
4 60 minute bodywork sessions a month
